StatMed Urgent Care Ocala

Visit took a bit longer than previous visits. That said, treatment was fast and direct. The staff are always polite and respectful. They are my go to for medical attention that doesn’t require a hospital or a full checkup. Highly recommend. One star off for the extended time I had to wait for the doctor once in the exam room.

This place is great, it’s nice to have somewhere to go when you need help now, something most primary care can’t do because they are so booked. Everyone there was so polite and professional. PA VIRGINIA lanced a cyst on the back of my neck and did an excellent job. Overall this was a great experience. Thank you so much.

Exceptional urgent care! As a physician, I’ve referred patients here, but today I visited as a patient due to an injury. Dr. Mark and staff were efficient, kind, and thorough. I was in and out (even with stitches!) within an hour. The facility was clean and organized. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was especially grateful that that I didn’t have to go the ER on a Saturday. Thank you!

I came in just before closing on New Years Day 2025. I know they were all looking forward to going home, but they put me as their priority. Thank you very much for the good service which helped me shorten the duration of my flu and manage symptoms.

I have read several of the negative reviews. And I guess everybody is. Entitled to their opinion, so heres mine. It was only a few days after hurricane. Milton had hit and my son need it to see the doctor so we called check and see if they were open. They were went there. We were greeted very friendly. The entrance so far was very clean. We didnt sit there 5 minutes. They took us in the back room. Seen the Doctor very friendly very professional. I dont have nothing else to say but positive. Ive been to other urgent cares and this one is the best. I think in my opinion, thank you.

I was seen at StatMed for neck and back pain. Virginia, the PA that treated me, ordered CT scans and set up an appointment the next day to have them done. She called me with the results the following day. I’m very impressed with the ease and speed of this whole process. I totally recommend StatMed. This facility is extremely clean. The staff is very personable and professional.

Had a wonderful experience! I have been battling a terrible cold for days and they were compassionate, accommodating, and i didn’t have to wait an extensive length of time to be seen. Definitely my go-to urgent care in the future.

From the.moment I walked into the facility, I was completely sure these were caring staff. Never have I been treated so kindly anywhere. Receptionist 2 nurses, Dr AllenDr. went above and beyond and saved me 322.00 on script coordinated with Publix. Cant say enough about staff and facility.

Amazing place to go. My primary couldnt get me in to be seen for days so I tried Statmed and was very pleased. The wait wasnt bad at all and the PA Virgina all the staff I saw Joel, Sarah, and Taylor were extremely nice and knowledgeable and didnt make me feel bad about coming in to be seen, on top of doing a full work up of labs, xray and Ekg.

Went to this urgent care for a finger infection. While the treatment was uncomfortable, the results were achieved. The facility is spacious, the staff in the urgent care area were pleasant and polite, attentive and concerned.No one likes to wait especially when uncomfortable and fortunately the wait was minimal. Facility can handle a variety of medical needs besides urgent care

Family members and I have been to this office a half-dozen times and had nothing but positive experiences, from a short wait time, to seeing a medical professional who took the time to evaluate and thoughtfully consult with us, to positive medical outcomes.

Took my son there on 12/28/2024 for an ear infection. They prescribed him an antibiotic that had no effect on the infection. Called the urgent care back a couple days later and was told to wait 4 more days of the antibiotic to work. He was still have excruciating pain in his ear all times of the day so we took him to a different urgent care and they immediately changed the antibiotic and added an ear drop as well and said his ear was very inflamed and that it was good we didn’t wait 4 more days. 1 day of the new antibiotics and the pain is gone. If you want to bring your child to ARROGANT medical staff that won’t admit they prescribed ineffective medication to your child than this is your place. Also the copayment was higher here than at the urgent care by double. Don’t recommend this place at all

Fairy clean, nice professional people were amazing. Have all their own machines to do everything there I personally paid cash prices were very reasonable could not say enough good about these folks.

The facility was very clean and inviting. All of the staff did an excellent job caring for all needs of each patient. There was a very rude patient there and Adrienne handled her with love and patience. I will now only go here for my needs. Vicky diagnosed me carefully and efficiently making me feel at ease. 2 years Ive been saying I had issues with things and she was only with me for a short time and diagnosed it quickly. Thank you to ALL of the staff.

I had to go to urgent care after 8pm and I was relieved to find StatMed open! They got me seen and taken care of quickly and all staff and medical professionals were friendly, attentive, and very competent. Unfortunately, the visit fee alone is like $350, but they told me about this at the very beginning, so it was disclosed up front and I agreed to it. After the excellent care I received, I am ok with the cost and would recommend this urgent care clinic if you need to be seen urgently.

I saw Daniel Allen PA-C on 11/20/24. I was very pleased with my care from the receptionist to the back clinic.This will be my new choice of Urgent Care in Ocala!

I went to my doctor to inform her about my injury and she walked me over to StatMed Urgent Care Ocala. The receptionist was so nice by helping me fill out the paperwork and the rest of the staff was respectful and nice too. The doctor came in as pleasant as he could be, told me what I needed to do. And within minutes, X-rays were done and I was patched up and given a prescription with directions on how much to take and how often to take it and thanked me for choosing them to assist me.

Took my husband here late on Friday night. The front desk lady was very kind. Both of the nurses we say were great and so was the PA. We were in and out and my husband finally turned the corner the next day. Thank you to all the ladies here for being so generous.

I’ve been here twice and had a great experience both times. All of the staff I came in to contact with were friendly & helpful. I received quick, exceptional care along with follow up in a reasonable time frame. Definitely recommend! .

Took my daughter in after 8pm last week due to abdominal pain. Was seen right away and got a thorough examination and explanation from the PA on duty that night. Very clean facility and kind staff. I would come back and see them again, if needed.

I went to StatMed after a snafu at my primary cares office yesterday. I was so stressed out and sick when I walked in. Besides that their lobby was inviting, the entire staff, from the fron desk, to the nurse, x-ray tech and the PA were top rate. I left there knowing that Ill be on the road to recovery. I cant recommend them enough.

This is the best walk-in clinic I have ever used. I have been there multiple times now and had the same positive experience. Everyone’s friendly and you are in and out. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Went in with unknown stomach pain. Staff and Dr was amazing. Was really nice because all test and X-rays were done right there. Saved me a very expensive trip to the ER. Highly recommend them for the best care

I was assisted immediately upon my arrival with severe right ankle pain. I was examined and treated with compassion and expediancy and given my diagnosis and the instructions I needed to care for myself.

This office is top notch. I had a great experience here as the staff was very kind, friendly, and took their time with me. They took time to call to see if I could get an urgent scan and couldnt find any place that could take me right away, so they referred me to the ER since they felt I had something serious going on. From the ER, I was admitted to the hospital for treatment. To the Dr, nurses, and staff at StatMed, Great job and thank you for your help!!! 😺

Had to take my Grandson in and we were from out of state. Such a wonderful experience!! Staff was so nice and worked to get all his insurance information put in. We were taken back to a room within 10 minutes (maybe less) and the nurse asked questions and left the room and within 1-2 minutes the Dr came in. I was amazed! I have never been seen that fast in a Doctors office. Thank you so much for treating us so kindly and for the follow up the next day! Highly recommend.

I visited Statmed due to a head injury. Everyone was very helpful, gentle and caring. I hope I never need this type of assistance again, but if I’d do I’d come to Statmed.

Took my daughter here the other night. Said was open until 9pm, we got there just before 8pm. They told her that they didnt take her insurance because it wasnt through her work, so they just assumed it was Medicaid. Its a private insurance that she pays for. Then the guy sitting behind the counter looked up and said they dont take that insurance this late. He looked upset that he couldnt keep texting or playing games or watching videos or whatever it was, on his phone. They just looked at us (and no, no one else in the lobby or parking lot that we could see), and said theres an E.D. down the street, they take any kind of insurance, maybe you should go there. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. They didnt take time to even look at her insurance card, look at me, or anything. They both just looked disgusted that someone walked in that late to the walk-in urgent care unit. Thank God it was nothing too serious, that we had time to go somewhere else.

I was greeted immediately upon arrival, had a short wait time, the medical assistants were kind, and the physician assistant Jim was very thorough and considerate. The five star reviews here are not exaggerations. The staff here are a class act. I took my son due to a foot injury near closing time and Mr. Allen (PA-C) and the ladies were so warm, comforting and caring, making sure that he was comfortable, cheering him up and overall providing outstanding care. Heartfelt kudos to Mr. Allen and everyone at StatMed.

Went in on a Saturday feeling terrible, thought it was a cold, but sure enough it was COVID. Staff was quick, efficient, took x-rays and prescribed appropriate medications. This was my 2nd time there, I highly recommend them and they take VA.

I am so glad I found StatMed. I will definitely use them again if needed. I did not have a long wait and got the treatment I needed. Everyone was caring and friendly. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Very happy with the care I received at stat med. I came in looking for relief concerning the infected cyst on my left upper back. Jim their PA drained the cyst and a day later the painful pressure I had been experiencing is gone

My husband fractured his ankle on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to go to StatMed based off other reviews and were extremely happy that we did. It was around 6pm on a Saturday with no wait. We filled out the necessary paperwork and were seen right away. X-rays were completed and they put a splint on his ankle and gave referrals to orthopedic. All of the staff were extremely helpful and provided great care. In the event that we would have to go to urgent care we would definitely go here again. Thank you!!

StatMed is a unique experience, unique meaning is a soft way saying what a complete joke this place is. First I was priced $179 for a physical and the actual price when I went to the counter to pay was $416. This price discrepancy is just an unbelievable unreasonable thing especially when I received a 25% discount from their supposed billing office. This is a horrible customer experience I would not recommend them to anyone.

Wait time not real long. Receptionist very helpful in finding a drug store close to me as I don’t live in Florida. Nurse and dr Mark very gentle and gave detailed follow up care.

I went in for a leg injury and was hoping it wouldn’t take long to be seen and I was called to the back almost immediately after I got done with my paper work. Staff was very helpful and efficient.

VA URGENT CARE ACCEPTED HERE! Went in on a Thursday around 6PM. Place was empty. Dawn behind the desk walked me through the urgent care process and also the prescription process. If you qualify for VA Urgent Care then just bring your VA ID card. Good staff. Friendly and helpful.

Went in last Saturday evening for severe migraine with pain and swelling due to sinus infection.Was taken care of quickly and was in and out in just over an hour.All staff was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend and hopefully never have the need to return, but knowing I would be well taken care of.Very convenient location.

Best experience ever at an urgent care facility. I called them and was unsure of the type of insurance i had they were so patient with us and were able to help figure it out. I arrived less than an hour before they closed and they were all smiles and never made me feel like an inconvenience. From check-in till check out, I was treated with excellent care and never felt rushed. They took their time and I already felt a little better when I left. My meds were sent into the proper pharmacy and I was able to get them the next morning without hassle. I cant recommend Stat Med enough. They really are top notch and genuinely care about their patients.

All the staff are amazing. Jim is very thorough in his assessment until the end of his medical exam . You can feel that they care for you. Compared to other urgent care , they have all the necessary tests needed for your care. Excellent.

Couldn’t get into my primary. Got here and in quickly, did all that was needed and I was out of there within an hour with a prescription waiting at the pharmacy on my way home. The BEST urgent care in Ocala. I have experienced low wait times and the reception staff is the friendliest in town. The medical staff is extremely knowledgeable with the best patient interaction I have experienced.

Seen & evaluated quickly for recent fall. Rather than wasting time the PA referred immediately to the hospital for testing they were unable to do there.All of the staff were attentive, polite & efficient. It was quiet when I arrived, so no wait. I would certainly return for appropriate problem.

I had a great experience at Statmed urgent care in Ocala. Went there for my ears because they really really hurt and I didn’t want to wait in an urgent care for hours. So I waited until the last minute but was really happy and surprised that this definitely wasn’t the case here. The people at the front desk were very efficient and Dr. Jim was excellent. Also Joel the technician was really nice and professional. I would definitely go here again and my ears are definitely feeling better. Thanks everyone.

My boyfriend came here for seasonal asthma and everyone was great. They worked efficiently, quickly and were very clear about everything. They let me go back into the room with him as well!

Didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen and I felt that I got compassionate care. I felt confident that my issue was properly addressed.

From check in, to X-ray, to nurse, to doctor the whole experience was seamless. Very fast too. In and out in less than an hour.

Great place. Been here twice now while down here for the horse shows with my son and the doctor that sees the kiddos and nurses have always been so helpful. Clean and big spread out waiting room and clean facility. Don’t feel like I’m in a sick tank. Able to help my son and in a very timely manner. Will only come here if we need a doc while in Ocala every winter for the shows.

The staff were extremely patient and welcoming. The staff all appeared to be in good spirit. Their bedside manner was excellent, considering it was late and an hour before they closed. If I ever have to go to an urgent care again I’ll come back to StatMed.

I don’t understand why this place has 4.8 stars. I choose this place for this reason but it’s not worth it. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seeing by the physician. There wasn’t anyone else waiting, just me and my husband. Then finally a PA saw me. I had an eyelid irritation. He didn’t look at my eyes, only my throat and prescribed me a topic cream. The consultation was 15 min. This urgent care center didn’t have a real physician or a nurse but they are really expensive. That’s why I was the only patient there.

I would highly recommend this place.I went in off the street, no appointment, staff was wonderful, in and out in less than fifteen minutes.

Finally an immediate care facility that has friendly and competent staff, excellent doctors and technicians, and all the equipment needed in one place. I woke up on a Saturday morning after a restless and painful night and drove past many other immediate care offices after a recommendation from a friend. I only waited about 15 minutes, saw a doctor, they sent in a prescription, sent my records to my regular doctor, and sent me home with clear information on what to do. I’m much better and would not hesitant to return I’d needed.

I had to take my daughter in because she had lingering bronchitis and her regular peditricians office could not see her until the following week. So I went to stat-med urgent care. The lobby and nurses were very nice and the facility was very well maintained. I would have given it 5 stars if they did not have a staffing shortage. I got there at 11:30 but was not seen until a lottle after 2. Other than the long wait, our visit was a good one. The on call doc was super nice and did great.

I am super happy with my experience here! the staff was extremely kind. even though i came in for a technically minor injury on my finger, the nurses and doctor were extremely understanding & didn’t down play my concerns at all. they were very informative about everything they were doing & maintained light-hearted conversation with me the entire time. if i need medical attention in the future, i will be back. i recommend this place 100%

I came in for foot pain that I had seen at a different urgent care the week prior. But the difference between that one and StatMed was the PA actually listened to what was going on and took X-rays to make sure there were no breaks or stress fractures. To top it all off he even prescribed me the appropriate medication that I told the previous PA had helped in the past for previous foot related swelling issues. Anyway, I won’t hesitate to come back, staff was professional and very personable.

I fell off a stepladder while picking oranges and badly injured my right shoulder. The first urgent care we went to didnt have X-ray machines onsite and I was sure that X-rays would be needed in order to make a proper diagnosis. They referred us to StatMed and fortunately I didnt have to wait long. Turns out that I had dislocated my shoulder and I was in a lot of pain. It took three attempts for them to reset my shoulder but because the PA and the support staff were very kind and highly skilled I was able to remain calm and they got the job done.

I highly recommend Statmed Urgent Care. No waiting, friendly, clear and precise diagnosis and treatment plan.

Quick, convenient and quality care. My family has always had a great experience. We had a single billing mistake that was taken care of in less than 20 minutes. One of the few places that will see younger kids and open evenings/weekends.

I walked in to urgent care and I was asked by the front desk rep what insurance I have. I told her my insurance and she stated that I have to pay $199 and a few cents. As that is the contract they have with my insurance. However I have met my deductible and my kids have been seen there not so long ago with my same insurance and I did not have to pay $199 this place is disgusting. Reps are unprofessional and definitely have no knowledge about insurance.

I love going to this place when I need medical treatment. The staff are friendly, caring and professional.They do their best to work with you financially. The P.A.s and doctors are extremely competent ,careful, and respectful. The whole place runs like a well-oiled machine from start to finish. Thank you, Ocala Stat Med for everything you do for your patients. It truly makes a difference.

This is the best place to go for your medical care. They are very efficient. Everyone is very nice and will make sure you are taken care of. Morning Star is wonderful. They dont judge you. They dont try to rush you through. They treat you very well and make sure you understand everything before you leave. Also, they are open until 9pm and answer the phone up to 9pm! Thank you all for being there for me yesterday and helping me.

Cut myself about 8:00 pm but didnt need an emergency room. I called another place, but they couldnt do stitches. I called Statmed, and they had somebody. The staff was so nice, even filling out my paperwork because the cut was on my right hand. The PA was very nice and knew what he was doing. I was in and out before 9:00.

I have been here a few times and every time I receive the best care. Kind and caring workers that pay attention to you and I always leave feeling better.

I was so relieved to find out, that this urgent care is open through the holidays! Makes it so convenient. This urgent care is very clean and very welcoming. I love the space in the waiting room. And the front receptionist, omg she is the best! I love her attitude and her energy! All the staff does a great job making you feel comfortable and taken care of!

My husband and I are visited by Florida for the week. I started not feeling well shortly after we arrived. Statmed Urgent Care was very efficient getting me in and taking care of me. I really appreciate their care and professionalism.

I have been here a quite a few times and the service is faster than any other place like ER or doctors office. They have everything needed X-rays CT’s labs everything in one place with fast turnaround. The staff is always so friendly and empathetic with me and other patients. This is the place to go if you don’t want to step into ER. ❤️❤️❤️

I’d like to say that they treated me very nicely and efficiently under the circumstances of my injury. I had sprained my ankle and I came in 20 minutes before they closed and they handled everything very rapidly to attend me as quick as possible. They are very professional and they take care of their patients very well. I was in and out by 9:04 as they were closed by 9pm. I have nothing but positive things to say about this urgent care, this isn’t my first time either and they continue to strive with their patients and service they offer. Thank you!!!!

Unfortunately for us, our 2nd trip to Florida getting Covid. Fortunately we went to StatMed. Our provider was right on top of what all we should do. Nasal irrigation was a great help for me and a new suggestion. Would hesitate to return but hope I dont have to. 😉 Thank you.

Great staff. Clean, prompt and efficient. Will definitely use again.

This is probably the cleanest and most well rounded urgent care Ive ever been to. Attached is another building specifically for imaging, so you can get your X-rays and CT scans right then and there. It was better stocked than most hospitals in my opinion. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I ended up being there for about 8 hours and the younger nurse was very thoughtful and brought me a bunch of snacks after awhile. Overall, the doctor and head nurse, Launie, were very professional and kind. They did everything they could to help. If they werent so busy and it was possible to make this place my primary care facility in Florida, I would. Thank you for all of the help!

Recently seen at Ocala Stat Med..staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Very professional. My wait time was fairly quick. The MA/nurse and PA who seen me was extremely kind and informative. Felt I was treated properly and made me comfortable. Would definitely recommend! 👌

I was told I had to pay 330 with my insurance vs 281 without insurance for a walk in . Which makes no sense what so ever . They said thats how my insurance was set up . Went down the road and my deductible was only 60 bucks everywhere else I went . Crazy how they try to scam people out of money. Makes sense why I was the only one in the lobby

The fastest place in Marion County to be seen. Nice personal since receptions to Nurses, assistants and doctors. I tell everyone that I know to go there. They accept the majority of ins if not all. Great place and environment.

Stopped in earlier today on my lunch break with a sinus infection. Morning Star Vaber was the PA/DR that examined me. She was cool easy going friendly very presentable and certainly went the extra mile to help me out when she technically didn’t have too. But she did. I won’t hesitate going back to this clinic if I have too. The guy in the back I believe his name was Joel was a very nice as well. The experience was easy going. 5*/5*

Wow, did not know a place like this existed .. the wait was not to long . I was treated with respect concerning my injury. The NURSE PRACTICES I saw was very thorough, without going overboard with test I did not need. Definitely will use them if I ever have a need again.

We have been to this center a few times for different family members and medical concerns and they are by far the best place in Ocala thus far we have found. From the time you enter the building you are greeted and respected, the facility is very clean and the staff is very professional. They take time to listen, understand and come up with the best outcome for you. We will use this as our go to for now on as to get into see your primary PCP seems impossible anymore.

Very quick service with knowledgeable, staff and people that care I would go there any day of the week in fact I’ve gotta go back to get my stitches out. I would tell anyone to go there.

This Urgent Care is terrific. I went in feeling like I was going to pass-out. I was seen within minutes. Jim Allen PA, was kind, knowledgeable, sensitive, informative. I can keep mentioning the positives in Jim Allen PA as a medical provider. As soon as Jim Allen PA, began talking to me, I felt confident that I was going to receive expert medical care. I was correct the medical treatment was the best! Laboratory tests were done in house. I needed an IV and it was administered there right away. When, I walked out I had no doubts that I was going to be fine and most importantly that I received the medical treatment I needed. Staff was great too.If you need to visit an urgent care, I highly recommend this one.Thank you all so much!!!

I went in with Covid and they took very good care of me and went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. They accepted my insurance and only had to wait for a couple minutes to be seen. I highly recommend.

I went there coz I was sure I have UTi infection, they take some of my urine to test it then they told me it’s clean and I have nothing but they gave me something to clean or flash my system I said okay , maybe they right I went back home for 3 days and nothing has change , so I decided to go to the hospital and they told me I have UTI infection and went to my blood system ,they tried to stop it before going to my kidney and make it worse , Oh my god i wish if I went to the hospital from the first place ,I admitted there for urosepsis for 3 days on IV all day all night ,

Sees Pediatrics!!!!! I will not take my children anywhere else. This place is clean and the staff is happy. There was no wait when we got there. Dr. Morning Star Vaber was absolutely amazing to me and my 3 year old when I took her in around 7pm for an uncontrollable high fever and sinus/upper respiratory/ear infection. Even the receptionist was quick to help when my daughter vomited on her shirt from sinus drainage by getting her a blanket to cover up with. I almost would rather go here than their regular pediatrician. They took a very scared and guilty feeling mom and made me feel like everything was going to be okay. Even hugged me when I started crying as to how bad my baby’s infection was. They saw us when other “urgent” cares closed at 5 or closed early for a “soccer game”. They took us seriously and were amazing. Thank you to everyone who helped us. Parents- go here!

Came home from a cruise with what I assumed was a URI. Went to a different urgent care 1st, they had a 3 hour wait. Google searched another and found StatMed. This place might be Ocalas best kept secret! We were able to get right in, NO WAIT, were seen promptly. Covid and flu tested within minutes, prescription called in and sent on our merry way. Since my visit, I have sent 2 others here. Both had similar experiences. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

I’ve used this clinic quite a few times- in Ocala, off of17th St -instead of going to my primary doctor, all the way in the villages- specially, when you’re sick, you don’t feel driving long distances- So this clinic comes in handy andI’ve always been extremely happy. short waiting period-And very clean!

This facility was amazing in treating me after a major rear end accident, I was hit twice from the rear and suffered a severe concussion, the staff Tina, Melissa, X-ray tech gentleman & new trainer were so comforting and caring I felt totally confident in their treatment plan. The PA Morningstar was beyond exceptional in explaining what I am to expect and how to heal better, without pushing pain meds, she really impressed me! The entire front desk team of woman were cordial, caring & compassionate with efficiency. I was very pleased with all the staff, I will definitely return!

I am so thankful for the team at this office. It was not easy choice for me to address my issues, and the staff absolutely helped me with this process. The front desk lady’s provided kind support, and professionalism. Dr. Victor Cruz had genuine bedside manner. This staff cares, which is not common anymore. It’s worth your time, and money.

My first time needing this service and it was truly profession urgent care. Tina took control of my situation as soon as she noticed the blood soaked towel from my 3hr nose bleed. She spent as much time comforting and reassuring me as she possibly could, while the doctor was attending to the many needs of others. I would definitely use this service again, if I ever needed to, and would Highly Recommend StatMed to anyone.

I went to StatMed for the first time last week. The service was amazing from the front desk all the way back to the doctors. Everyone was professional and friendly. I needed stitches in my arm and they provided above and beyond care and attention to make sure my wound was clean and stitched up properly. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

Best Urgent Care! The colonic was clean, well laid out. Every staff member I came in contact with was personable, professional, very helpful. Morningstar was wonderful. She explained what was going on throughout the procedure and made a very painful experience much less. It was reassuring to find such a great clinic in a city that is still new to me. Staff was professional and friendly. I was seen very quickly after filling out a few forms. The nurse took my vitals and the PA was in only a few minutes later. Urgent care is the type of thing you hope you dont need but they made it as easy and pleasant as possible.

My husband and I arrived here at 7:45 p.m. for an issue with high blood pressure. We spoke with the front desk lady, who was very kind and helpful, and went back quickly after filling out the medical history paperwork and paying. Morningstar Vaber was our PA and was extremely thorough, ordering X-rays, bloodwork, and other exams. The nurses and all the staff were really helpful, and the facility was large and clean with little wait. I was highly satisfied with the care and did not feel rushed out or neglected. Would go here again (though of course hoping we wont have to!).

I love this place! Its clean, and everyone is friendly and caring. From the front desk, to the nurses and Jim Allen. Ive seen Jim Allen PA twice now and each time he takes my concerns seriously. Seriously could not ask for a better urgent care clinic. Thank you guys so much.

I hurt my back lifting and went to StatMed, the staff was friendly, no long wait time. Doctor was right in and came back in after I got a shot. Highly recommend them!

I did not receive care here, so I cannot comment as to the quality of the care. But my review is important for self-pay patients. I called to ask if they had the flu test available. The woman who answered needed to know what insurance I had before she could tell me. When I told her I am self-pay she said well just to let you know it is $281, that just gets you to the back and then it goes up from there depending on what you need.... So I asked the cost for the flu test and she said she did not know how much it was and again repeated the $281 would only get me to the back.There is an entire demographic of families that save, budget and pay for their health care without buying in to health insurance. When youre not transparent with pricing it makes it difficult for those families to be able to choose to purchase your services. It wasnt the $281 that kept me away -it was that they didnt want to tell me their prices up front. If I had known it would be $281 plus X amount for the test that I wanted, I could have made a more informed decision.If youre like our family and pay out of pocket for your care, there are other urgent cares in the area that are transparent with their pricing and their up front costs to get you to the back are about half the cost of the $281 here. We ended up going to one of those other urgent cares and paid $149.

I went to this office as a walk in for my first time. Immediately, the front desk lady was very sweet.(which is typically my first impression) MorningStar and her MA, whose name I believe is Pauola, addressed all of my concerns and went out of their way to help. I can not address the gratitude and appreciation I have for these ladies. I would recommend them a 1000%. Thank you guys for all that you have done!

My wife Angela received fast, compassionate, excellent care today on Christmas Eve. She received compassionate care by Mark Muller PA and his whole staff of medical assistants. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She walked in with no appointment and was in and out in 45 minutes. She would highly recommend this facility for your urgent care needs.

I had to go twice this week to StatMed and see Dr. Jim and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this office. From the checkin, nurse and Dr. Jim they made the entire situation seamless. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and detail oriented. He took the time to explain and answer all of my questions and offered the extra care that was appreciated. His front desk is friendly, the nurse is top notch and he is truly amazing. If I or anyone else is in need of care I would never hesitate to recommend them. My doctor was out of town and the nurse recommended I go to a clinic. Went to StatMed. After a short wait I was taken to a room. I was experiencing dizziness to the point I had trouble walking, could not drive, sometimes falling down. Doctor Steve drew blood ran tests and scans, Could not really find a cause but I seemed healthy otherwise. I received excellent care from Dr. Steve and the staff. I followed his advise. The clinic was spotless and everyone was friendly. Dr. Steve was very caring. Highly recommend this clinic.

Outstanding from checking in through the exam and X-rays. Warm friendly staff at every point. Little or no waiting when we were there. Instant results on my test.Full five star.

Had a wonderful experience here and would recommend this location and absolutely come back in the future if needed. My wife and I went here late on a Monday evening due to flu symptoms and the nurses, staff, and PA were great. Very kind and welcoming, knowledgeable, a much better experience than expected. 10 out of 10.

I went in with an injured ankle as a new patient and was called back before I even finished paperwork! Caring and accommodating staff, well equipped to handle my problem, and Dr. Muller did a great job of explaining what happened and how to handle the rehabilitation process. Furthermore, he detected and informed me of a heart murmur I never knew about. Thanks to him, I will be getting follow up care for it now that I know. Highly recommend.

Walked into StatMed with a broken wrist at 8:15pm after quickly leaving a very crowded ER. One of the best decisions we made. The facility was clean, there was no wait, everyone was incredibly kind and professional and we were sent home after just an hour. Thank you all so much!

On Monday evening, around 7:30 p.m., I hit my toe on a box full of books. It was dislocated. Realized might have to go to the ER for the problem to be fixed, but didnt want to have to be there all night. Looked online and found out that StatMed was the only one in Ocala that was open after 7:00 p.m. My husband got home shortly after I had done this, and he helped me get in the car and headed for StatMed. He called them and they said they took our insurance. When we walked in the receptionist was super helpful and kind! The staff was also amazing! Joel with the x-rays and Sarah the nurse were helpful and kept me moving. Not sure of the PAs name think it was Jim, but he was totally amazing. In the end discovered not only did I dislocate the toe but broke it. Jim got it back in place and set it with great care and the staff was amazing! Would highly recommend statmed for all urgent care needs!

I came here for an emergency issue with my back. The medical professionals that saw me were incredibly kind. The front desk, person who walked me back, and both medical professionals…. All wonderful. I was seen very quickly and treated with compassion my entire visit. While I hope to never need their services again (lol) if I ever need emergency services again I would absolutely come here. I can’t recommend them enough.

Brought my husband Ted Williams in to have his hand checked out after an accident. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. We were seen immediately after completion of preliminary paperwork. The PA we saw was very thorough and explained everything in detail. He was most helpful as was everyone else there.

Clean, spacious. Thorough care. A nurse gave my baby a popsicle for her strep throat. Most importantly, we had a mix up with the pharmacy because they closed early and I was able to call and speak to Jim right away who was able to transfer it for us so quickly. Grateful!

I try to make a point to give only positive reviews. But, sometimes it goes off the rails. The PA and Medical Asst. were fine. The issue was that having given the pharmacy info 3x , the prescription was sent to the incorrect pharmacy.Fine mistakes happen. The issue is that when I called to correct the info. the receptionist alternated between saying 4449 and 2449. Which led to more confusion. The receptionist then started to yell at me as if I had done something wrong. This is not going to be her version of events because evidently shes never wrong and refuses to listen.I posted a very negative review in order to get someones attention and to see if anyone really care. They do, I received a call within 10 minutes of my post. Ive changed my review to 5 stars and would recommend Stat med for your medical needs.

Took my 6 month old in today to get treatment and they were so thorough with her! Very emotional seeing your baby uncomfortable - but they served me with patience and kindness. 1000 stars.

Went for an eval after a car accident. Liked that I was able to print the paperwork at home, fill it out & have ready when I walked in. Made the check-in process easier. The staff is very friendly and the PA was thorough with her evaluation. They are able to dispense some medications saving you a trip to the pharmacy.

The staff was very caring and attentive. I didnt have to wait long to be seen. They followed up the next day with the test results from flu and covid tests.

I found the gold mine when I found this urgent care last night. The staff was phenomenal and they have a lot of ER capability there. I was able to get fluids, anti nausea meds IV and lots of tests ran and did not have to sit in an ER for 9hrs. Such a blessing thank u! I am passing the word along to my neighborhood

People with gray hair don’t always receive that. You ran the needed tests in your facility and diagnosed my problem. I am beginning to feel better. Debbie thank you for getting me a pillow, showing kindness and concern and all the technical things you did. You stand out in your field because you really do care. This is the second time my wife and I have been in need of StatMed. The facility is so clean, can provide all needed tests on site and you know from the minute Sarah greets you at the front desk you are in good hands. We even received a follow up call from Jim this morning- well done and thank you.

This office is awesome. Awesome Dr’s, medical staff (front and back)!! Knowledgeable-nice, caring! I brought my son in because he broke his foot. He had lost his insurance cards, and I had to self pay! Only downfall, they didn’t take Cigna. I was expecting a huge bill after x-rays, foot splint, crutches, a lidocaine shot and resetting the bone; but it wasn’t the case. The gal at the front called the office manager without me asking to get a discount. I originally started to take him to another urgent care on 200, but was told their “internet” was down. It seemed like they just didn’t want to work, and didn’t seem to care at all my son was injured. I would go back to this location. Daniel Allen PA-C A+++, and staff well done! I, myself, have been in and out of dr’s for a couple months since we moved here, and I can say they know what they are doing here! Thank you! One more thing-we were in and out in at least less than an hour!

We found StatMed on the Internet as a close, urgent care center. My 97-year-old mother was having respiratory difficulty and swollen ankles. StatMed turned out to be a one stop shop for any patient with any issues. She ended up with several issues that needed to be addressed and StatMed had all the equipment and staff needed to test each and every issue. I firmly believe another urgent care would have sent her to the ER, which would have stressed her out greatly. Instead, we left StatMed with a plan, with medications, and with the results of tests. A couple of days later we took her back to StatMed for a recheck where she was already showing Great improvement. I highly recommend this facility.

Went in to check out if I had a contact stuck in my eye. The staff were really sweet and very helpful. A nice environment to be in. Morningstar the PA-C was very helpful and did their best to assure me I was in the clear. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone for the great staff and extensive services they offer.

I had the experience by my Dr. to go to stat med. I was treated with the upmost respect from the moment I walked into the facility. Debbie and Jim were just sweethearts the whole time I was there. I felt like I was special, Ive never ever felt like that before. They were great and understanding of my questions, and didnt make me feel dumb. I hope if the situation occurs again, that my Dr. will send me their again and I will get to be with Debbie and Jim again. Their respect of you as an individual is awesome..

I suffered with heel pain for months that got progressively worse. It took that one visit that took much less time than I had anticipated to alleviate all of the pain I have been experiencing. Very grateful to the staff for a pleasant experience, and for all that they do to make that the case for others.

My honest review of the facilities is that it is extremely clean as well as convenient because they do everything in house. I would 10/10 recommend StatMed Ocala for your urgent care needs because of the level of care and courtesy I received here on 1/10/2020 as well as 1/15/2020. P.A Jim was who took care of me and he couldnt have been kinder or more thorough. He explained everything to me every step of the way, clearly communicated to me any reason for a prolonged wait. He and the entire staff were very attentive and truly made me feel important and well cared for. Im very appreciative to them for that.

The office is clean and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I took my daughter to a different urgent center a few days before this visit and they did not do any testing. At Statmed we did not have to wait long, they did the necessary testing but were cautious not to order unnecessary X-rays, and took the time to answer our concerns. If you need an Urgent care center in Ocala, I would recommend Statmed.

I fell outside their building & I was checked over thoroughly. They xrayed my R arm & my left foot. Dr. Brent Carter a podiatrist assisted my boyfriend to pick me up after I fell over a door mat.

My wife and I were feeling like we might have the flu or perhaps something more serious like COVID. We wanted to get tested.. We got some recommendations from doctor friends. The first place we went was in a very crowded strip mall out on 200. A sign on the door read that they had reached capacity. Do not approach the receptionist because she is very busy.The second recommendation we went to was StatMed Urgent Care Clinic. What a difference! It was still late in the day. They had reached their quota, but there was plenty of room to park, and the office staff was very helpful. The receptionist gave us paperwork to fill out in advance of our visit the next day so that we could speed up the process. They open for testing at 9am and take the first 60. We arrived at 7:45 and were the first ones in line when they opened. We gave them our paperwork, our insurance and ID cards. Were were taken back to get tested and had our results in 10 minutes. Unfortunately we were both positive. The doctor suggested some prescriptions to help with the virus, and we had them filled.Everyone in the office was very professional. I would highly recommend StatMed Urgent Care.

I was feeling poorly for a week or so. My primary would not schedule me. I walked into StatMed Ocala. I waited less than 10 minutes to check in. The ladies at reception are so sweet and efficient. Nurse Debbie is so gentle, I never felt a thing during a blood draw. PA Jim is very thorough and had me in and out in no time flat. I needed chest x-rays and they were done with a minimal wait. All in all, I wish StatMed could be my primary!
