I recently became an patient at Dr. Riley office. I must say front checking in to checking out and all in between have been above excellent customer service, very professional. Im so glad that my primary referral me to this practice. The Arnp listened, explained and was outstanding, Dr. Riley was also the same she did an procedure everything went well however she explained and listen Im just very happy, its easy to read review an form an opinion. I urge you if you are looking for an good OB/ Gynecologist please at least check out for yourself. I must also say the entire staff is nothing less than professional. I came to the conclusion its an requirement to work their.
I started seeing Dr. Riley’s physician assistant Liana in July. Between July and October I only saw Dr. Riley twice and that was for an outpatient surgical procedure. Dr. Riley is nice but did not communicate with me much after the procedure in her office. She did the procedure and was in and out without saying much to me at all. I explained to them that my hemoglobin was low and I’m severely anemic and was having heavy periods twice monthly and I wanted a hysterectomy to make it all go away. Both were nice women however they both repeatedly told me that no other doctor would give me a hysterectomy and their plan of care was the best. They gave me one Lupron injection to stop my heavy bleeding and then scheduled me to come back in May 2025. They also told me to make a cardiology appointment due to my blood pressure and shortness of breath. Went to cardiologist and explained to him what was going on with my health. He immediately sent a message to a Adventhealth physician Dr. Linneman. When I left the cardiology office that same day, I got a call from Dr. Linneman’s office telling me to come in the next day. I spoke with Dr. Linneman and explained to him what was going on with my health and told him my wishes. He took the time to SIT down and talk with me and together we came up with a plan to get my surgery done as soon as possible. He immediately reviewed my records, labs and previous doctor’s notes. He sent me for labs work and test. On December 3rd he performed my hysterectomy and I went for my post op appointment today. He removed my bandage and my incision is completely healed. I feel 1000% better. While I was in the hospital, he came and sat in my room daily and answered any questions I had. He assessed me and asked me how I was feeling daily. As a physician you’re gonna run into surgeries with potential complications and risks. Sending me home to suffer with an enlarged uterus, while waiting one a injection to shrink my uterus was not the answer. Thanks for nothing. I wish I had met Dr. Linneman in July instead of being referred to your office. My suffering could have been resolved a long time ago. Anyway you all have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I am so impressed with Dr. Raily and her nurse practitioner. My stepdaughter has some disabilities and its hard for her explaining . the nurse practitioner and the doctor was so patient, kind a considerate. I was very impressed how they spoke to her- directly, instead of speaking to me like she was a nobody … I love that! Thank you for being so patient with her!
I was referred to Dr. Riley by my primary care doctor. So grateful and thankful for that recommendation. I was really scared to go because I thought I had a serious problem. I was introduced and was seen by Courtney, PA. I cannot say enough about her. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Explained my situation thoroughly, told me my options and was just so kind and caring. It’s so nice to have such compassionate people caring for you. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for answers and quality care.
I am going to start with five stars. After not being able to get in to my own established gynecologist for an urgent situation until the end of August, I searched HCA gynecologist and reviews and called this facility first. I spoke to Delaney, who was incredibly compassionate, and she has gotten me onto the schedule, as soon as this afternoon, although I could not make that time. I will be seeing next week by a PA, which is perfectly fine by me.
Im deeply grateful to Dr. Poorti Riley and her entire, exceptional, professional, compassionate, caring staff. Im so very happy and relieved that I chose Dr. Riley to treat my recent unusual bleeding issue and hysteroscopy. I will continue to see her for any future medical issues. Although Ive never had to wait very long for my appointments; if you should ever find Florida Womens Health a busy waiting room, its because Dr. Riley is one of the very best gynecologists in the region and well-worth the wait.
Would be nice after three days of waiting to get a phone call back and an appointment now! This is urgent. No one seems to want to address this on the medical side!! Unacceptable
I have had several appointments as well as a procedure done by Dr. Riley. First off, the office staff is amazing! Jazz at the front desk is/was a dear, kind and always upbeat person, dont worry, she is still at the office, just promoted! The staff are so pleasant to be around, I found myself looking forward to my appointments! I know! Who looks forward to appointments to the Gynecologist? If you went were I do, you will as well. Dr. Riley is a lovely person who speaks to you, not at you. She is kind, caring and professional. I cannot say enough about her and her office. If you are looking for a gynecologist, or are not pleased with your current doctor, make an appointment with Dr. Riley. I promise you will be happy you did!
I am a 76 year old who went in for a PAP and exam...routine. i was seen by the nurse practitioner and she started the exam. i was placed in stirrups, and she started the exam. she wanted the doctor to take a look at what she was seeing, so she left me there. i waited for about a half hour, and still she did not come back. I have a very compromised back and use a cane walk, so was feeling very uncomfortable. I got off the table and put my clothes back on and waited for the PA to return. For a very long time nobody returned. At this point I had been in the room for over an hour so i went out to the desk. There was hardly any staff and those there were obviously getting ready to go to lunch. i had been forgotten by the ARNP -- of all the people who should have been aware of her patients!I left!!!Unfortunately my insurance only covers this practice, so I am stuck having to go back for something called a culdoscopic something. I had to look this up on the internet because no one explained what it was, or why they needed to do it. So i have another appt in two weeks. I hope I survive! I would not recommend this practice if you have another alternative.
I had a delightful experience with Dr. Michelle Wood at Florida Womens Health in Ocala and the entire administrative staff. Every interaction I had with their team was friendly and professional. I didnt have to wait very long once I arrived for my appointment, which caught me by surprise as most medical facilities are so overwhelmed there are unusually long wait times for in-person and phone visits. Dr. Wood took her time to explain any question we had and listened. I didnt feel rushed at all during my appointment.Thank you for a positive experience; my husband and I left feeling confident we went with the right doctor and office!
I am absolutely amazed and thankful for my primary doctor refer me to Florida Women health. The ladies was very nice and friendly to me. I was scheduled for ultrasound on 08/07/23 & a follow-up on 08/14/23 but I couldnt make because of my work schedule. Thank you for all you do .
Everything went great 👍 with my procedure. Everyone is so Sweet 😊 there. I was treated so kindly and with respect! It was the first time I met Dr. Riley. She is so kind and gentle and such a good doctor😍. I am so glad my general practitioner referred to Dr. Rileys office. I feel she has gotten to the bottom of my long ongoing problem, and has found a solution.🤞Thank you to everyone at Dr. Rileys office and Dr. Riley for all your concern and effort. I think Im on my way to a whole new life. ♥️♥️♥️
Have been a patient of Dr. Riley for almost 20 years, never in all that time has she not given me all the timeand care I needed. She has made me feel as a valued patient & friend. I adore her, she is a wonderfuldoctor and human being. Her staff is always friendly and professional. I have never had a problem withbilling and payments, nor do I feel that her fees are out of line. Dr. Riley is a sweetheart.
I was searching for a gynecologist. A friend of mine gave me Dr. Rileys name. I am so glad she did. Dr. Riley is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, professional and kind. Her staff follows her lead. I was seeking treatment and advice for a couple of issues. One is that I had been in pain for two years without resolution. Both of my concerns were diagnosed and treated. I recommend Dr. Riley without hesitation!
I have been a patient of Dr. Riley’s for several years. From general care to surgical skill, I always feel cared for and treated with respect. She is an amazing physician and her knowledge and expertise are second to none. I appreciate the professionalism, concern and treatment I always receive at her office. She and her team are an asset to the community!
I really had a very bad experience with this office… they are so unprofessional and VERY Disrespectful and Unorganized!!! They Lie on you and change prices of procedures, and then they tell you that they will call you for an appointment and never do… they play so many games at this office and don’t care at all who they hurt in the process… it’s a shame I really thought different of Dr. Riley but I see she’s just like the rest of the heartless people in this world! She only cares about her pockets rather than someone’s health…. Very bad experience and I Highly do not recommend this office!! Especially if you’re looking for a caring and helpful Dr. Office….
I have to say this has been the best obgyn I have gone too. I love how it’s all ran by women and Dr. riley and her staff are amazing and compassionate. I have gotten two procedures done. My most recent one was today and no complications. They make sure to give me answers and help me understand. I highly recommend. And happy this office is in my network for my new insurance
I have been here multiple times and only have seen Dr. Riley and have never had a good experience. I was never made to feel comfortable I was judged for personal matters. She has zero bedside manor and after I had my IUD put in and almost passed out she was annoyed that I asked to lie down for a little bit because I was very dizzy and had to drive myself home. This review is only a five star because I just recently went back for an annual checkup and saw Melanie? I can’t remember if that was her name but she was amazing. She made me more comfortable in the office to talk about my concerns. And very personable. I will only be returning because of my experience with her and will only see her going forward.
I highly recommend Dr. Riley!!! I came to her office in excruciating pain from a 22 cm fibroid that was pushing on my organs, distorted my uterus, caused severe bladder incontinence, and other health issues. Jenae Thaler, NP, helped me through the initial process, and was very friendly and compassionate, listened to and addressed all of my concerns. The staff were always kind and respectful towards me as well. I was on Lupron for 6 months which reduced my fibroid to only 10cm, allowing for the least invasive surgery. Dr. Riley took great care with attention to detail to see that my surgery would be as safe as possible, ordering proper testing, and assigning special staff for my surgery. I am 1 week out from my hysterectomy, with zero complications, and my bladder immediately began to function normally! Everything is healing nicely...I even left the hospital the same day as my surgery! Dr. Riley literally saved my life, and has given me back a life of much better quality! If she can help someone with as severe a case as mine, please know you are in the best hands, as I had been told by many health professionals who have worked with her as well!
The Drs and Staff are always very courteous and very professional. The facility is extremely clean as well. The Drs explain and listen to their patients and are very caring. The staff is amazing with how they call for your reminders and give you the time of your appt and everything is very very professional. Thank you for everything you all have done for myself and all the other patients. You ladies ROCK!!!
Thankfully, my concern below got the attention it needed with a prompt response from the office manager. Hopefully, this issue can be resolved now that awareness has been made.I have called numerous times (over the past 6 months) to resolve a billing/insurance issue. When I could not get someone on the phone, I tried to leave a message, but their mailbox is always full. When someone answered the phone, the person who does billing could not talk. Only once in 6 months has anyone called me back. At some point my time chasing down their issue is costing me $$.
I have been going to this office for 10 years now. The past few years has gone down hill and today was the last straw. I received a letter from a collection agency that I owed $28 to Florida Women’s Health when I had not been notified before. When I called and spoke to someone at the front desk, she confirmed my address on file and said they sent three statements previously back in 2017 which I had never received . I had just been to this office in January 2018 and was never notified of the bill even in person. I paid the $28 over the phone and then spoke with Ashley, the Office Manager, who was very rude over the phone. She didn’t care that I didn’t receive the statements and she said that it was impossible for her to sit down and call all of the patients that have overdue bills even though all of my other doctors make phone calls to me about bills I need to pay, because sometimes people don’t get the statements. Instead of offering to figure out what went wrong on their end, she defended the actions of her office. When I told her she needed to make sure her employees collect bills that show for certain patients, she became extremely sarcastic and said “I’ll make sure all my employees know”. I do not appreciate how I was treated over a measly $28 bill, but I will not be going to my doctor again based on the staff alone. When I say I didn’t receive any notifications of the bill, I didn’t receive any. I feel like they don’t care about their patients or whether their doctor gets paid properly. I’m very disappointed and angry at this situation. Dr Riley needs to seriously consider new staff.
My OBGYN Cortney was very resourceful, however, i feel like i have paid over 200$ in copays to basically have nothing done about my fertility and missed periods. I went into the office two different times because i was told “ we will get you pregnant” don’t worry, to then be told i have to go to a fertility specialist to have the same exact thing be done that could be done in office there, like being put on medications. I’ve paid for two back to back office visits just for nothing to be done for me which is very unfortunate. I wish that the office would have done something to benefit me instead of just collect my money and send me off to a place where my insurance doesn’t cover even medication.
There is nothing in Ocala like this office- I love the staff, the office is by the front door - no elevator, no miles of hallway, everything is surgical clean. I actually look forward to my appointment. I call myself very LUCKY to be their patient… my first experience was 2005-Not a thing has changed- the Staff is “special.”
I have been to see dr riley numerous times in the past year. Seems everytime i see her, she can only do one simple exam at a time. Once was a scope and i had to come back for pap. Was told it was an insurance issue. I spoke to insurance and was assured that she could have done both procedures at one visit. Dr riley wanted me to have a surgical procedure that seemed unnecessary. She was not happy with me. Today, when, once again, she was unable to do two non invasive scopes, she refused to do anything and slammed the door as she left the room. I definitely feel this dr is milking the insurance system. Always an excuse as to why I need to come back for another visit.
Quick appointment. Convenient location. Office was clean. All personnel were courteous, friendly and helpful. I saw the PA and was very pleased. I will definitely be back when need arises. I am a snowbird so Im very pleased to find a GYN practice I can depend on.
Dr. Rileys surgical skill and attention to detail, make me confident that I am always in the best hands when Im in her office. She cares about the details that make all the difference.
Another Edit: This office is still very disorganized. I’ve had several more experiences like the first one. Most recently: I had a LEEP in June, first pap after that was abnormal. The office called to tell me that pap result and said they would call next week to schedule a colposcopy. They didn’t, I had to call to schedule it. Another week later they called me and said I had to schedule a LEEP? I had to explain that I already had that procedure and had already scheduled a colposcopy. I also had to schedule an appointment just to get the results of the biopsies they did during that colposcopy. They used to call to give the results but instead I had to pay an extra specialist copay and wait an hour to see if I have cancer. I really gave this place so many chances but that was the last straw.Edit: Dr. Riley has turned my review into a good one! They got in contact right away and accommodated my procedure for 3 days later. She talked to me about my concerns and reassured me and definitely made me feel more comfortable.I had my first colposcopy in June (over 3 months ago) with Dr. Riley. It was my first time meeting her and she didn’t introduce herself, ask me anything about myself, explain anything about the procedure or seem to care at all during the procedure until I started crying at the end from pain and stress. That same day I scheduled my next colposcopy. It was supposed to be next week, but because the person who scheduled my appointment made a mistake and they didn’t notice until a week before my appointment, I get to have anxiety about having cervical cancer for an extra 2 months.
My appointment was with Ashley, who is a P.A., she was very kind and patient and took her time to answer several questions that I had. Im really happy that she took her time and didnt seem rushed (like several other doctor visits Ive had elsewhere). Her kind-nature and friendliness goes along way. I ask to see her when I make an appointment. I highly recommend her!
Im a senior who went to see who I thought was going to be Dr Riley thats who my appointment was with, however after I was in the patient room I was told the nurse was coming in, thats when I should have left. I never saw the doctor the nurse prescribed erroneous prescription they ran additional tests that were not required. I now have to go see another doctor and do another copay again. These people should definitely refund my copay. I have complained to my insurance company and Im filing a complaint with the AMA. Please read all the reviews before making an appointment, Im not the only one that this happened to.
I started with Dr. Riley about 10 years ago and we laughed over our last names; she was just great. I now usually see Michelle (terrific!)on my annual visits, but every so often Dr. Riley stops in to check to see how I am. I always feel confident that if I ever have a major problem Dr. Riley will be right there for me.
I have been a patient of Dr. Rileys for over 8 years. Her compassion is something that you rarely find anymore. She has literally held my hand thru my concerns and issues. Dr. Riley takes the time to explain what she is doing and what needs to be done. I appreciate her directness while at the same time keeping me calm.
I absolutely love Florida Womens Health!!!! Dr. Riley and Dr Wood are amazing!!!! The whole team is!!! These ladies definitely put their heart and soul into helping women and this is exactly where you would want to be!!!
Dr. Riley followed a cyst for two years with numerous ultrasounds then suddenly recommended a full hysterectomy. I decided a 2nd opinion was in order. The UF doctors said it was so small and hadnt changed in at least 6 years, no need for a hysterectomy or for any follow up. It appears Dr. Riley also had done a procedure last year, on me, that was probably unnecessary. Neither my doctor nor UF received the records I requested in writing, twice. Michele was always nice.
I was referred to your office by my doctor, Greyson Thomas M.D. Your office was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was there for a medical problem that I was having and with everything going on with the COVID19 your office addressed my situation with urgency and compassion. I have now been referred to Dr. Ripley in Gainesville that specializes in GYN Oncology and I am so grateful to Dr. Riley for her and her staff. I pray that everything will be alright but knowing that I am in the best of care erases my anxiety. Thank you for helping me, may you all be blessed in the years to come.
I’ve been a patient at this office for 8 years! I’ve never seen Dr Riley, I’ve only seen Nurse Practitioner(s). I’m a 51 year old cancer survivor. You think she could have seen me at least once! It’s absolutely time for a change.
Dr. Riley’s office runs very efficiently and professionally. The medical staff are all kind and knowledgeable. At each visit they thoroughly explained everything to me.Dr. Riley is ethical, knowledgeable, trustworthy and kindhearted.
Wanted to give a million thanks to Suzette for her diligence during my yearly visit. She discovered that I had an irregular heartbeat that I had never known about. In addition to that finding however, overall just wanted to say that her attention to detail was impeccable!!
I couldn’t be happier with the care I get from Dr. Reilly and her staff. They are professional, thorough, compassionate and loving. I highly recommend them. I am so thankful for the care I have gotten over the years.
Very poor, except for PA Michelle. Little/no direct service from Dr. Riley, dismissed to another physician (with no follow-up) after cancer diagnosis. Billing error (they did not acknowledge), and even got hung up on when I called to straighten it out. PLEASE take your important care needs to another center. You deserve more compassionate attention, especially at such high cost.
I feel very comfortable at Women’s Health, and Dr. Riley is wonderful! The only change I would like to see is as with most medical practices, the Dr is not able to spend much time with each patient.there are times when the patient may need a few extra minutes to be able to bring up concerns.
Staff is friendly. Dr. Riley is friendly and gives you the time you need with her. She is easy to talk with about my concerns. I am very pleased with the office and Dr. Riley and would recommend her to all the women.
**Update-They did reach out and call me back after this post. I was refunded and they were very apologetic about my experience.***If I could give less stars, I would. I was seen in February days after giving birth to our 15 week old due to a complication in pregnancy-subchorionic hemorrhage that led to placenta abruption. I was told I needed medication to help speed the process along or they could perform a D and C. I reluctantly agreed to the medication because they said I would get an infection. They told me the ultrasound showed placenta left in me. I told her the birth was complete and my midwife had confirmed the placenta was intact and the PA told me that what me and the midwife saw must not have been a placenta, of course I argued it was my 3rd birth and I know a placenta and my midwife as well, obviously. Either way, she insisted on the medication or D and C so I said medication because she scared me to death that there might even be another placenta in me we didnt know about -she said this to me. I was charged 300 for this visit. Hours later, I was left with a voicemail of this PA asking me forgiveness- they are not allowed to see patients with a loss after 12 weeks and werent even qualified to treat me! She told me she was new and not to blame the doctor, she was on vacation out of the county with her child and to please not take it out on her, that the doctor is just a single mom. I thought, Wow they must have done something they shouldnt have for that PA to leave a message like that. So I called back, VERY upset because I just paid 300 and they werent even going to call in the medication she insisted I needed. She told me to go to the ER immediately and get a D and C. She then called me back for the next 4 days to make sure I went to the ER and got it. I went to a QUALIFIED doctor and they said the tissue left was simply from the subchorionic hematoma and everything was just as it should be days after giving birth. NO MEDICATION OR D and C was recommenced, he actually strongly recommenced against them. Now, Florida Womens Health is STILL trying to make me pay another over 200. Ridiculous. The same services were 34 with my insurance at the OB I went to after these people. Bottom line- they should have never touched me or accepted me as a patient, yet they negligently did and gave completely negligent care including unqualified medical advice.
Dr Riley is a wonderful DR she was my Dr in 2007 and couldnt ask for a better Dr Riley performed my surgery. Now she is my daughters DR and performing the same surgery best Dr in ocala fl
I like Michelle, very much, I believe she is a PA but I dont like waiting 45 minutes to be seen. I came into an empty office, sat for 15 min. then was called in and still waited fo 30 min. till I went to find someone.I used to work for a physician and if he were behind, like 30 min. told his staff to call his scheduled patients and tell them to come in 30 min. later, so they wernt sitting around. The patients really appreciated that!I get claustophobic sitting in a small room w the door closed. I HAVE to have the door open a bit and thats not easy sitting w only a paper gown on. I was told that is mentioned IN my chart as an alert. Perhaps that should be put on the FRONT of my chart in RED ink.Thank you
Went in for a new patient checkup, after filling out paper work receptionist had me sign paper stating that I would be charged nearly $250.00 if I discuss any issues. I said, this is my first appt and I can’t discuss my history. She said you can discuss your history but if you discuss any issues we will charge you. I said, well issues I am having is part of my medical history. I went and sat down and mentioned it to the two ladies that were sitting there one lady said, this dr is very expensive and the other said they even charge you to get results of a clear Pap smear. While I sat there I saw a office worker come to the front window and discuss a urine analysis with a patient which I thought was unprofessional. After waiting an hour and hearing what the other ladies were saying I eventually left. Who goes to a dr and gets charged if you discuss your history with the dr (if it includes any problems you may be having)Wouldn’t a dr want to know if you’re having any issues so they could properly treat you? Insane!
Dr. Riley is perhaps the best GYN Ive had. She is knowledgeable, answers my questions, makes me feel comfortable. The office is efficient and respectful. Minimal wait.
The medical care is very good but the billing and office staff is terrible. We had to prepay for a procedure $795.00 even though my insurance company called and told them it was 100% covered with no copay and no deductible . We are now waiting forever to be reimbursed.
Bad...had a run post proceedure because MD and anesthesiologist did not read or listen to me regarding how I react to medications. I have had these meds over 30 times I know how I react. Easy to control reaction keep me very warm and give me anti nausea and pain meds... a paper sheet does not constitute enough to keep someone warm....ended up being dumped in the ER. They had no report of what was happening with me they wanted to run a bunch of very expensive tests. NONE of which were needed once they found out the proceedure I had just had. All I needed was more anti nausea and pain meds. Dr Riley or her office staff never contacted me to see if I was ok that day or up to 4 days later...very poor follow up
My name is Donna Goldsmith This is one of the worst Doctors I have ever seen!!!!!!! Has no problem telling you that they can help you but when it comes down to it all they do is take your money and help in no way !!! I sit here crying now blown away by the care I received today from Dr Riley and most of the staff should not be working in the medical field at all I will say her PA is very sweet and understanding however the plan from the PA to the DR are two totally different plans like they never talked at all at this point I am so upset they have gotten over 500.00 out of me and where no help what so ever if I was you I would look for someone else!!!!!
Dr. Riley is very competent, professional and a caring person. She treats you as a person. I would highly recommend her to all. I will not go to anyone else but her.
The doctor and the nurse practitioners here are okay but theyre pricing is outrageous! Even for self pay they run 250 to $450 just for a simple office visit to be seen over minor issues. So you better have some good insurance.
Best of the best! Dr. Riley cares about your health and what you may be going through. Finally a doctor visit where I dont feel like just a number. Dr. Riley and her staff are wonderful.
I never actually met Dr. porti. I saw one of the nurse practitioners and she was amazing and understanding and really listened to all the problems I was having and didnt think I was crazy! I thought finally someone who believes me and is actively trying to help! Woohoo! I found the dr for me which many of you know is extremely hard to do. However, I will not be going back there. The staff of Dr Portis office were some of the rudest and most unprofessional medical staff I have ever come in contact with. They were not helpful with explaining situations with me and actually at one appointment mocked me and laughed. One of the worst experiences of my life and no I am on the hunt for a dr again!
Extremely good experience. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Did not see the doctor, but had Janae, an RN. Very thorough exam while being very personable and caring. Made several helpful suggestions which I intend to look into.
I like my ob but I dont like that the wait times in the lobby area are always longer than 30 minutes regardless of what time of day your appointment is. Please keep this in mind when booking an appointment and plan accordingly.
I brought my girlfriend to Poorti Riley’s office, and she had first seen the PA there. I had listened to what my girlfriend had been told. I figured exactly what the PA had told my girlfriend, was correct with what multiple MRI, catscan, and other test results had shown. Then, Poorti herself had seen my girlfriend while I was there to listen to what she had to say. I was totally shocked at what she had said. She had said she was more concerned about a possible malpractice lawsuit, and that my girlfriend should let her large septated, complex cyst naturally burst on it’s own (which IS NOT POSSIBLE). Apparently, I questioned her after what she had said, verse reading on this site that she had drained a fluid filled cyst in her office to relieve pain and discomfort for another woman. What she’s saying is totally wrong, because my girlfriend’s cyst is not liquid, and has kept growing rapidly, and is large, and needed to be dealt with surgically immediately ( confirmed by two other doctors), and she became upset with my girlfriend, and told my girlfriend that she was going to refer her to another doctor, because she didn’t think my girlfriend’s pain wasn’t coming from A VERY LARGE SOLID CYST, and NOT EVEN A FLUID ONE!I feel she didn’t care, because she wouldn’t be paid enough by the insurance carrier my girlfriend has, and apparently it’s now evident that MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HELPING HER PATIENTS..... REALLY? PLEASE!!!!Poorti’s PA even stated that surgery is necessary as soon as possible. Her PA recently called to check on my girlfriend while I was home.... THAT ITSELF PROVES THAT POORTI IS LYING 🤥, and doesn’t care..... Poorti Riley..... HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT KNOWING THAT YOU TURNED AWAY A WOMAN IN NEED, OVER YOUR GREED????SHAME ON YOU!!!!
I’m in complete disbelief in the way the PA treated me especially after reading on your web site about the the effects of heavy menstrual bleeding I felt uncomfortable with the her and asked for a doctor she was rude and talked to me like a child she then sent in another PA who must need a hearing aide as she came in yelling at the top of her lungs telling me what she thought the other unprofessional PA assumed I was asking questions about then she said sweetheart you’re not my patient let me get the office mgt she was rude and very disrespectful then Melissa and Melissa came in I explained to them how I was disrespected they told me I should find another doctor I explained to them I’m not feeling well I’m on iron which has made me nauseous plus they’re aware my blood levels are low they said they’ll do me a favor and not charge me for me sitting there for a hour and 1/2. They felt a little racist as I never raised my voice I only asked questions to educate myself on this process but the moment a black women ask a question in Ocala it’s a problem I wish I can give a NO STAR women of color stay clear of this doctors office. THEN I RECEIVED MAIL I RETURNED I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THE OFFICE MANAGER WHO WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY CALL TO ADVISE TO PLEASE DO NOT MAKE CONTACT WOTH ME IN ANY FORM ESPECIALLY AFTER THE ONLINE RESPONSE I WAS NEVER DISCOURTEOUS I NEVER TAISED MY VOICE I ONLY ASKED QUESTIONS… if that’s rude then fine.. DO NOT MAIL EMAIL NOR CONTACT ME IN ANY FORM! LOOK FOR REAL DOCTORS RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
As a patient in the procedure, I had my experience with the administrative staff (especially with Carmen) and the medical staff, it was excellent because I felt very well cared for and this made me feel safe and confident, thanks to all of you.
Dr. Riley, and her staff are very caring and understanding. Melanie never rushes me, and explains in detail any questions I have.Thank you Dr. Riley and entire staff.
I always see Michelle and love her! I am always happy to be greeted with a smile at the front desk by the girls and everyone in the office is so accommodating and sweet!

Outstanding physician and practice. Knowledgeable, smart, caring and attentive group. Among the best practices Ive have ever been too.
Just terrible, we were right outside and called in saying we were on our way in. They said we need to reschedule because the doctor has a training at 9:30 when we called at 9:15 when our appointment was at 9:15 I understand that we were late but it was obvious they didn’t care for their clients just a paycheck.
I hope the PA can get a job somewhere else. The billing is suspect and I got nowhere with Ashley. I am calling my insurance company next to complain and ask advice.
Staff was very pleasant! They tell you every step that they are doing and what you should feel which I really like! I Highly recommend!
