AFC Urgent Care - Channelview

I had body aches & a bad cough that worsened over night. I logged into the app to schedule an appointment and it was very easy to use. I also like that there were a lot of time slots available and when I needed to change the appointment time I selected, I was able to do so without problems. The staff was very friendly and the doctor was really nice & everyone that attended to me had great bedside manners. The doctor was thorough and made everything easy to understand. They were having system issues so it made the visit longer than normal but it’s something out of the staffs control. I’ve been to this location several times and have normally been in and out so service here is fast. I would definitely recommend this provider.

I feel like scheduling was pointless because once I got there, I waited forever to just be acknowledged. I was just there to have my TB resulted I was initially told the comeback would be in and out, that show to not be true. I get that urgent care‘s have emergencies, but no one could come to the front and offer some type of explanation to calm the crowd as a courtesy. However, Hannah was awesome. Five stars to her.

I want to share my experience from Saturday morning! I woke up feeling pretty crummy with nasty cold and flu symptoms. I called ahead to see if they accepted walk-ins, and thankfully, they did! I arrived around 8:30 AM, just after they opened at 8:00 AM since my primary doctor was closed.The staff at urgent care were so welcoming and friendly. They quickly tested me for COVID-19 and the flu and made me comfortable. I was in and out in just 30 minutes! The doctor even sent my prescription to a nearby pharmacy for me. By noon, my meds were ready to pick up.I genuinely had a great experience and received excellent care. I highly recommend this urgent care at Wallesville Rd, next to Mister Car Wash, to anyone who might need it!

I had a fantastic experience at AFC Urgent Care. Booking my appointment on line was a breeze, with a smooth and efficient process. The office was incredibly clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere as soon as I walked in.The staff were ALL very kind, helpful, and friendly, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The doctor was excellent, attentive, and thorough, addressing all my concerns with care. I will highly recommend this place to family and friends.

I was a walk in and was seen right away. Dr. Sharon Johnston was great! She was caring, thoughtful and professional. She went above and beyond and I am very thankful to her. The lady at the front desk was very friendly as well. They are fast and efficient and I recommend.

Had to visit this place for the first time this morning (August 30,2024). My child had been vomiting all night.From the first interaction with front office staff until we checked out, it was amazing. Everyone was helpful, respectful, and made us feel welcomed.Our nurse got us to a room quickly and made sure my child was comfortable. The Doctor was kind and answered all the questions I had.Would recommend this place in a heartbeat.It is a paperless type of check in, but office staff were very helpful for those who needed a little assistance.

I took my son as a walk in and he was seen right away. Dr Sharon Johnston was great! She was caring and professional.The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly as well. They are fast and efficient and I recommend.

The clinic was a little bit busy but the wait wasn’t bad. The staff were cordial, helpful and informative. The problem was addressed and taken care of. If I need assistance again, I’ll be back knowing I’ll receive the medical attention needed.

First time visiting & I loved it.Super easy to schedule an appointment online and finish the check in. Average wait time 30 mins or so and was seen in a very timely manner. Highly recommend. I went in due to having a cold but they have a lot of services available. Check them out.

I went in for flu symptoms and it was an upper respiratory infection. The ladies were so nice and I felt very comfortable with them. They were very gentle with the flu stick in the nose. 100% recommend and I will only go here from now on.

Best clinical staff I seen by far, everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. No complaints, keep up the good work.Side note: they said they was having AC issues but I didn’t really notice much. Might affect someone else but at least they’re apologetic about it. Would definitely go back again

First of all it was opened on Labor Day when the Dr.’s office was closed. The front desk lady was so nice and sweet. Although there were many people there waiting to be seen, the staff moves quickly and efficiently. Our wait time was very minimal. The nurse who called us back was attentive and kind. The provider was also very attentive, kind, and seemed truly concerned. We got a diagnosis, image results, and prescriptions and were on our way. After leaving I needed the prescription to be called into a different pharmacy, I called the office and it was done in a matter of minutes. Our visit was a 10/10, I highly recommend.

Got a very small piece of glass out of my 92 year-old mom’s foot.  It was x-rayed(x-ray tech was great!) and the NP, Sharon, got it out with ease and such professionalism!  Appointment was made with such ease.  We got her antibiotic prescription and tetanus shot and we were on our way!  Thank you AFC!  You were great!

Our visit was very smooth. Our wait was about 20 min. The front office is nice. The nurse practitioner was nice and worked well with my 8 year old. Prescription for an ear infection was sent over immediately and there were no issues. Would recommend this urgent care.

I had a bad experience at this place 1- the receptionists are not friendly. 2- They dont help you register and I felt very bad. 3- I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes so that the practitioner could see me. The only thing they did immediately was collect my copay. 4. total hours on site 4 hours to be an urgent care

The team at AFC did a great job with my urgent care visit. It was a seemingly busy Saturday afternoon, but they assessed and treated me very well, and it didnt take very long at all. I will be back when needed. Highly recommend for efficient local urgent care needs.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment which I did online. Very convenient. Checking in was a breeze. We arrived signed some forms and was called in within 10 minutes of signing the forms. I believe it was a little less than 10 minutes. Staff were very nice. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor were all great. I would definitely come back and refer others to this location.

I was thoroughly pleased with the treatment i received here. Prior to my visit to your facility, I was unsatisfied with the medical service I was receiving. This was my first visit at this location and I was impressed with the quality of their service and timeliness. I am a veteran with disabilities and normally always go to the VA Hospital but, today required urgent medical care and AFC Urgent Care resolved all my medical issues. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this location at 15236 Wallisville Road.

Love this place! Always super clean and freshly sanitized. The staff is very friendly and professional. Wait time is slim to none. And the doctor is very attentive and always gives me the best treatment for a quick recovery.

The Nurse was very friendly and professional. But it was the Doctor, Sharon Johnston for me!!!! had excellent bedside manner. She was personable and answered all of our questions. She was super supportive!

Took my daughter and we were in and out. They swabbed for flu and strep and luckily she was negative. They are always quick and efficient here. Very friendly staff and clean environment.

Such a great experience. The people here are extremely kind and understanding. They treat you like family. I had a lot of anxiety, and the nurse practitioner as well as the other young man who assisted, helped me calm down and even had a conversation to help calm my nerves during the process. Will be coming here for any and all future emergencies. 😁

I found this urgent care from my insurance company, it was in network and had great reviews so I went. Of course, only I, would get cellulitis in my birthday, so I really did need an URGENT care. I made an appointment convenient on their website, same day. I only had to wait about 25 minutes after I checked in due to it being busy with other appts and walk-ins. After my vitals, I was put in a clean room, waited about 10 minutes and the NP came in to do her exam. She was quick yet thorough. Gave me antibiotics and other medications, and I was out the door. I left at 2:40pm so I spent a total of an hour there, which is amazing for an urgent care compared to other urgent cares I’ve been to. 10/10 would recommend, despite it being a far drive from me.

The admin in the front window is polite and very helpful. The staff is very courteous and get you out quick. It has never been full atleast when I have been the for a school physical or 10 panel drug screening.

Easy check in, friendly and professional staff, and thorough exam. The doctor has great bedside manners, very personable. This was my second visit and will be back for future needs.

This is a great place to go to when your primary doctor can’t see you or you have emergency. They are very nice and attentive. I wish they could be my primary doctor.

Fast excellent staff and Dr.However, I am Puzzled as to why I didn’t get a shot to jump start my recovery. Directives on Medicine says start tomorrow?? Got there at almost 2pm… still feeling miserable. Fever, chills, aches, terrible headache, congestion and scratchy throat. Pretty much ch the same as when I arrived. Perhaps I would still go back…not sure. But I would just would ask more questions if I do.

Visited this urgent care for the first time on 9/14/24 due to an injury to my ankle. The visit went very smooth. This was such a great experienxe as I was taken good care of and sent on my way. All the staff I came in contact with were very professional, respectful, caring, kind and compassionate. They were knowledgeable of my injury and very detail in explaing to me the results from my exray. Im truly grateful for my visit today.

I was there for a DOT physical. I was given a tablet and an email text to fill out paperwork online. It was easy and no issues.The NP, receptionist, medical assistant or nurse, we very courteous and professional.

First of all, the staff was extremely nice. I walked in and explained my symptoms (chest pain)and was told that that was something they would be able to do. However, when NP came in, she pressed on my back, chest and stomach, asked questions and offered to do an EKG and ultrasound, all of which took about 35 min. She then came back to the room and stated everything from what she saw at the ultrasound and EKG looked okay in that she did not see anything , folded up the paper and advised me to go to the ER for further evaluation. After leaving the facility, I looked at the discharge paper, the XRAY results stated that it wasnt complete in that it was pending. I called back the next day to inquire about the results of the ultrasound and was then emailed the results from the ultrasound.This was my first time going to this urgent care and it will probably be my last.

AFC Urgent Care is always the same! That’s why I continue to go. Clean, professional and fast! Scheduled my appointment for 8:20 was out by 8:50 home by 9:00. Diagnosed and Medication called in… will continue to support this clinic

Great service all around, from the moment you walk in the door. The medical assistant steve was awesome and the nurse practitioner Sharon was very funny and comforting.

My overall experience in scheduling my appointment online and the care I received at the clinic was very satisfactory. However, the frustration came when my medications were electronically sent to the wrong pharmacy by the clinic which had me running from one store to another. Having an allergic reaction, this medicine was needed sooner rather than later.

The appointment was last minute and AFC handled it quickly with no problems and I was in and out and on my way back to Dallas sooner than I thought would happen. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will keep them in mind if I need medical help again when in Houston.

I went in because I was throwing up everything. I was diagnosed with an intestinal infection. There was no labs done. Infection to me means antibiotics.They gave me something to keep down something and a popsicle. It worked and by 2pm the next day it was over. Grateful that it stopped but no sure about the diagnosis.

AFC has an amazing staff. Soon as you walk through the door they get you checked in and are very considerate to your needs. Will definitely refer AFC to anyone in need of great medical care. Thanks AFC!

Had a sore throat, ear ache, and a mild headache, scheduled an appt barely a wait after checking in online less than 5 minutes. Was only there a total of 45 minutes and it was just waiting on additional testing. The pharmacy messaged me before I even pulled out of the parking lot that theyd received my prescriptions.

I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Sharon Johnson. She truly cares for you and goes out of her way to make sure sure the medication she prescribes doesnt interact negatively with my existing medication. She was thorough with my examination and even offered a local PCP should I need one, being a visitor from out of state. There was a nice friendly staff there and the facility was spotless. I would recommend to anyone!

I hope this locations stays here for everrrr! Over the last year my son, mom, husband and I have came here for colds, streps, etc. it’s soo easy to schedule online, register online and just pay when you get there. I love it, they are nice, polite and welcoming.  The doctors are caring and never feel rush. All the medical assistants here are super nice and sweet (wonderful bedside manners) check in staff also very nice and polite. It’s clean, no wait, we’re in and out with test results, diagnosis and prescription electronically sent to pharmacy and all within 30 mins. (Trust me I check the time) I received a text from my pharmacy while in patient room waiting to be discharged stating they were working on my meds. THIS IS EVERY TIME I COME. My family and I are thankful they are close by. 10 stars If I could. Thank you for being our life savers :)

The scheduling process was easy & simple through the app. We were in & out within an hour or less. The staff was great & very professional.

Had an appointment at 12 o’clock got there at 12:40 1225. I am still waiting. Lady came in around 12 was coughing real bad they came out told her to come back and looked at me sitting there and said oh you signed in I said, of course I have signed in. I did it when I came in and you took my payment, so they took us both at the same time I sat in the room for another 25 minutes waiting that I had flu symptoms, coughing, light, headaches, tons of mucus, throwing up, after all that and then taking my money she prescribed one thing for nausea, so needless to say, I was up again all night Taking over-the-counter crap that does not work is the worse

Employees where very attentive and professional, the place felt clean and safe for a Medical facility but was a bit Warm alot of questions asked concerning my health and past illness but over all Pleasant visit.

Staff and NP Sharon Johnston were all very nice and friendly. They took good care of me and answered all my questions.

The service was pretty good. I like that you can fill the forms out on your phone now instead of filling out paperwork. My wait wasn’t that long to be called back or seen by the physician. Plus they had already sent over my prescription me to CVS so by the time I walked out they were already ready to be picked up. Will definitely use them again if needed.

During my Urgent care visit my experience there was very good. Steve the Medical Assistant was very helpful and seemed like the staff actually care about their patients and their care. Definitely recommend this Urgent care facility.

This place was so easy to book an appointment with . so glad that they had longer hours during the week. My son needed his physical done for school and loved that here they are working with the school so that we could get them done here. Great price, NO apptmnt needed, staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, there wasnt a long waiting time.

This place is ok if you have a cough or want to be tested for Covid.  Other than that,  your best bet is waiting to see your own doctor, since there is oblt a nurse practitioner there or going to the ER.  The nurse practitioner is friendly, but really cant do much ( not her fault). Staff was friendly and the scheduling was easy.

This was my first time visiting AFC. I was well pleased from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Steve made me feel calm and relaxed and was very caring. I was in the room maybe 5 minutes and the dr soon came in.

I recently moved to the Hunterwood area. I had been feeling bad and needed to be seen immediately. AFC was in network with my insurance. Hands down the wait wasnt long and everyone was very professional.

My baby wasn’t feeling well. I walked in on a Tuesday around lunch time. The front desk was friendly. The wait time was short. And the doctor knew almost immediately what was wrong with my baby after doing her checkups. She is now feeling much better. Thank you all for making our visit so easy.

It was hot in this place and I didn’t appreciate the fact that the dr came in and informed me that my daughter needed glasses and continued with the physical instead of saying if we continue the physical it will not pass that way I could have made the decision to continue or not very unprofessional to me and lack of communication for me

This is a first-rate operation from the desk person to the physicians assistant to another young man that gave me the tetanus shot. I would highly recommend this urgent care.

Dont know what its like when its busy but nobody was in the lobby when I got there so I got right in did have to wait a little bit longer than I anticipated for the nurse practitioner to finally check me out but she was probably busy with other patients that I did not know of

The nurse see me but not a doctor and they don’t run test because they don’t have the equipment for that i just pay for really no service.

Scheduled an apt. For 5:40pm and was in and out by 6:05! Excellent staff and were very friendly even though it was very busy.

Told me covid/flu test results would be about 10 to 15 minutes. Had a fever, didnt feel well obviously why I was there. After 40 minutes of waiting I went out the room to see if they forgot about me . Waited another 15 minutes for someone to come see me. Got there at 12:20 left at 2:10. This was with an appointment. All this with the person in the open area next to me moaning crazy loud over and over again in pain the entire time.

The resting bed it’s very thin and very uncomfortable to lay down.I’m not a big size person and it was very difficult to lay on it.The front person was on the YouTubeWatching videos.The nurses were very kind and helpful.The physician was very professional and very knowledgeable.

Dont need appointments. Just simply walk-in, fill out form, and do your business. Simple as that 👍

I went in with my infant old who had a fever and the staff was friendly and helpful. I didnt know the procedures to check in but they answered all my questions. They gave us medicine for him and made sure his fever was under control before sending us home. The service was fast and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

Waited almost 2 hours for a physical exam that took 5 minutes! Unfortunately this clinic was run by one person, a nurse practitioner.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our doctor was great. He listened to us and was very thorough. The service and test results were quicker than other places Ive been.

The lack of communication and understanding was not good. I went in for a TB test “only” as something that was needed for a job. So I have not in no way needed to get a TB test done for any reason other than this so I was unclear of the process after you get the shot. I was told by the nurse that administered the shot to come back within 48-72hrs to read the results. Thats it! She did not explain anything else. Like I can’t come after 72hrs, the test will then be inconclusive and I will have to spend another $35 to get it redone. That was very important information to know and should have been said, explained and understood when I got the test done especially seeing that I don’t get TB test done regularly because there’s no need for me to. Lastly, I didn’t go in a bunch of days after that. I got the test done Thursday afternoon and came back Monday at 2:41pm to get the results for my job and the other nurse is telling me I was supposed to come back yesterday at 2pm to get the results. Now I have to spend another $35 to get the test done and on top of that the nurse told me my results were NEGATIVE! I’m very upset for the poor communication these nurses have up here.

Had a very bad sore throat and came into urgent care as a walk in. Check in process was very quick at the snap of a QR code. upon arriving into the back I was immediately tested based on the symptoms I presented. NP came in immediately after lab results were posted and went over them with me and suggested what I should do and I was discharged. Very very quick service. I would definitely recommend this facility

The staff here was very helpful and understanding. I came in about 20 minutes before closing, and Caira, the receptionist, saw to it personally that all of my urgent care needs were met and quickly got me into the back to see Dr. Sharon Johnston and her assistant, Steve. I will definitely be back!! The staff here is amazing!!

Needed to get my daughters sports physical done and the quality of care here was awesome. There really was no wait time, just walked in and the receptionist was kind and friendly. I also experienced smiles and greetings from others who were in the office. The doctor that attended to my daughter was also, kind, patent, and quick. Really fast service excellent customer service I hope I don’t go back but if I Do I will definitely come back here

First time visitor. Great experience overall. Will definitely be using this AFC urgent care for now on.

Staff is courteous. Visit thorough but prompt. Sharon Johnston, NP gave me some helpful advice to help build up my immune system even more. This is my go to place. Second time visiting and no complaints. Its clean and friendly environment. Thanks to the entire staff..

My 4 yr old accidentally sprayed cologne in his ear… immediately took him here because it was the closest place thinking they would wash his ear out or idk something! This doctor says he has an ear infection because he checked his previous appointment and thats what he had before. I literally told her he sprayed cologne in his ear which is why his ear was likely red. She barely checked his ear . She prescribed antibiotics unnecessarily. I left so disappointed because I’m no doctor but I have common sense ! Left and went straight to Texas children’s. I should have gone there first but since this place was closest I thought they would know what to do. At Texas children’s they called poison control to make sure they followed the correct steps on what to do. The pediatrician checked his ear very well and made sure there was no damage to the ear canal. She said he did not need the antibiotics and that she didn’t understand why this doctor prescribed them in the first place. We will never go back to this place.

Outstanding care. My nurse and nurse practitioner were both very friendly and kind.

The nurses were polite and helpful and did a fantastic job to make me comfortable.The test they were running on me needed a blood sample which was taken very professionally and painless

UPDATE Not my first visit. From first ever visit to multiple visits we have been treated like Family. Dr Sharon Johnston, my spouse, and I are quickly forming patient-Doctor - professional confidence relationship - same as our Primary Care and Specialty Physicians.THIS VISIT in November 2024My symptoms were rapidly changing from allergy to Asthmatic Bronchitis, we quickly agreed on an urgent medical treatment that amended well with the treatment plan set in place 24 hrs prior with my Primary Care PA. AND obtained directions to a very convenient Drive Thru 24/7 Pharmacy. This is important in that our Primary Pharmacy for Daily Meds, though close in mileage and very accommodating to us as customers, the Drive Time is more than Doubled inThe Rush Hour Traffic + Two High School Football Stadiums on route from the AFC Clinic to our pharmacy makes traveling during late early evening miserable when patients like us are miserable already and in early respiratory distress.With these directions to the 24/7 Pharmacy in hand, what normally would be totally Five Minutes Drive (minus heavy traffic) from AFC parking to the closer and faster service Pharmacy 24/7 Drive-Thru was actually between 15 minutes or less; and I was home with medication in hand less than 40-minutes taking my first dose at bed time.This Choice of Urgent Care Availability saved us the 1 hr 15 min Drive to Emergency Department Visit for quick assessment and treatment (within first few minutes of arrival in an Urgent Situation that could quickly progress to Emergent Situation).Personal ExperienceI DEFINITELY: recommend the Staff, Physician, Techs, and Reception Specialists.Grateful and very appreciative of the care: I am sooooo much better and able to breathe this morning with the Amended Treatment Plan. ♥️🙏The Previous visit date: Earlier this year 2024 —- or Late Last year 2023.All personnel were very kind, compassionate, and very professional. Especially, physician. AFC Urgent Care is our first choice when needs arise and we are unable to visit our PCP. Thank you for the care you gave to both me and my husband.

I scheduled an appointment so that I wouldn’t have to wait 30+ minutes like any other time. Only to still come to the SCHEDULED appointment on time and still had to wait 30+ minutes. After checking the wait list showing that my children were next, the walk in appointments were still called before me. Why even have the option to schedule an appointment if you still have to wait an not be seen until after walk ins ?

Thank you for making us feel welcomed and safe. Staff and provider are excellent in every aspect, they explained everything in detail and were always concern if we needed anything or if we had any questions. They went out of their way to find a pharmacy that was open late and because of that, my daughter was able to start her medications that same day. We have never been in any other facility that has made us feel happy and comply with me to forget a little about the worries we had concerning my daughters health. Service provided on top notch. Im VERY picky on pretty much everything & after much hesitation I decided to come here based on other reviews. I was so much pain & my doctor didnt have any openings.Wait time was minimal. Staff was incredible - friendly, patient & courteous.Diagnosis was accurate & treatment was very effective. Wonderful job AFC Wallisville! I couldnt be more pleased!

I’ve never had a complaint until today. I was pretty much told by the receptionist that online appointments are not appointments. It was just a system to fill out paperwork ahead of time. And they would not be honored because they had a lot of walk ins. I did not mind a short wait, but I was told I would be put in line after the walk ins.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. I went in and came out really quickly as well

10/10 they were quick and easy. I was in and out in no time and everyone was super friendly, Sharon was awesome and I would definitely recommend if you need to get a dot physical to come here.

The office staff was great and the doctor was also very good. There was hardly any wait time. I would definitely go back if I need to.

I had a medical emergency on 12/30 and first, they were open, second, the entire staff was extremely attentive and helpful. I feel that they have taken better care of me than my primary physician!! Thank you ladies and have a Happy New Year!!

Everybody was professional and helpful. When I told them my insurance was through the VA they called for approval nad I was in a room being seen minutes after filling out the forms.

I have been to this urgent care at least three times and I can honestly say that I have never had a negative experience. My mom lives in another state, she became ill with vertigo, I took her to AFC and they took care of her. I just came from there because I needed labs but they were unable to assist me since I needed to visit Quest Diagnostics directly. The lady at the front desk was really attentive and kind in her delivery which I truly appreciated. Kindness goes a long way with me. Where I believe they can make improvements is on the aesthetics of the interior of the building and the check-in process. It seems a bit rundown since my previous visits. The torn chairs should be replaced and the usage of cell phones for instructions are unsustainable. This process should be seamless for everyone but especially for the elderly. Thank you!

It was very fast, probably 5 minutes if that the staff was very friendly specially, the gentleman that helped me what I needed to get done. I will most definitely recommend this place to others.

The staff at the Wallisville location were very professional and personable.

The Doctors & Receptionist (Christian) provided a great Experience despite the circumstances. Had to take my son the AFC Urgent care for stitches. There was no long wait times, the facility was clean and the staff was very friendly. If ever needed, I would return to this AFC location.

This is our first urgent care experience. Service was excellent. We were welcomed by the receptionist. Treated with care by the nurse and the physicians assistant. She answered our questions and was very informative. I also am thankful they called me back when the pharmacy I had requested my medicine was closed so we could change pharmacy instead of wait until the next day.

Dont even waist your time going here! Left with no answers. Worst urgent care experience Ive ever encountered. Everyone was on their phone, doctor didnt seem to care nor run the correct tests, and I had to spend more money to go to another urgent care to be diagnosed properly and receive the proper treatment.

Quick and very efficient service since the moment you walk in with receptionist to the staff on the back like nurses and doctors. My son had a very deep cut on he’s finger and the Amazing doctor on shift took care of him, so good with the pain control and stitches procedure. Thank you very much for your great service. Ive came here every time my sons pcp doesn’t have same day appointments when he is sick and every single time ive had a very good experience. You get to schedule appointments online, as well as all the paperwork and check in online. Its so quick and easy. The providers are very nice and understandable!

. I was seen within minutes and upon my arrival. After a few preliminary tests I was told I have COVID! They wrote a prescription and return to work letter and sent me on my way. Very polite and caring.

AFC urgent care has been unmatched in their treatment of my family. I have been here three times and each time they have been amazing. The check in is easy and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The nurses and doctors are very personable and willing to help and actually listen to their patients. When my insurance changed I called to ensure we could still be seen at this urgent care because they are the best around! I cannot say enough about this place! 10/10

Awesome place. I walked in for a physical, filled out the paperwork and was attended in a fast and professional manner. Everyone from the front desk, medical assistant and the Dr. were very kind.

The doctor did nothing to try to resolve my situation.I walked in with a minor dog bite. A portion of my thumb and nail bed are dangling from my finger and the doctor didn’t even look at it, she only advised me to wash it off with soap and water and prescribed antibiotics. Not the dangling dead skin and nail have clotted together and will probably need to be removed after fully healing.

Sucks do not give any medicine when I take my baby back

Since I did not call first to make an appointment. Everything went well for me. The Staff was very courteous & Professional. I would utilize their services again if I could not see my regular Physician. Great facility for this neighborhood...

Visited A,FC on 10/2 and Hannah walked me through the process of doing my paperwork online. When I arrived to the facility my appointment went smoothly. I barely sat in the waiting area before being called to be seen and was finished in no time. Thank yiu AFC.

Been here twice! Once for my son and the second time for myself. Both times, the entire staff from receptionist to assistant to physician were super friendly and helpful! Both visits and they were all different people! I enjoy this urgent care because of the people who work here! So positive in such a down time for people being under the weather etc

The time to see my daughter was good, though there was a line. I was respected and not pushed for test that I didnt believe daughter needed.. for me that is very great!

It was amazing waiting time wasn’t long. The Dr was informative all the staff was nice and happy to answer questions I had.

Front desk associate has no customer service etiquette. She would cut me off with her demands to not answer my questions. Not one word from me could come out of 4 attempts. Then the gentleman assisting me to take my urinalysis was polite and informative, but his associate kept walking in and wrongfully inquiring that he assist me in some order. Her interjecting was unprofessional and her directions on using the hat was incorrect. The staff can use some training and know the process of working up patients, also not interfering their team members to correct in-front of patients with wrong information which was not necessary and did not make her look like a great team member.

Wait time was short and everyone was nice and welcoming!

The staff here is very polite and helpful hence the 2 stars. However, I was told my copay would be X with my insurance and I received a bill 1 month later stating I owed a lot more. I have never had this issue before at other urgent cares. I feel like this place is deceiving cost wise and they should be more upfront about the costs.

My AFC experience was great. I went in and got checked in for an employer drug test. I did wait for about thirty minutes but aside from that once I was in, the whole process was quick and the employee was nice.

Whenever myself or my children arent feeling well, this is the place we always go to. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing us with the utmost care. Additionally, they strive to ensure that our visit is as swift as possible.

I made an appointment online. Came in earlier than my scheduled time and they brought me back right away. Front desk wasn’t the friendliest but everything went smooth, quick and efficiently.

My 5 year old son had a visit at the Channelview location. The front desk staff was pleasant like always. The Medical Assistant walked us to the room, she failed to introduce herself and also told my son “I’m too busy today” to be dealing with him delaying the nose swab for testing. So I took the sample myself because she was about to leave the room to start other testing. There definitely needs to be some training on customer service.

Bad experience here not with the doctor but the “system” even tho someone just went before me. The lady at the front was super sweet said the system was down but they could put my card on file and charge the co pay. I wasn’t doing that because I know my copay is $25 but she said it may be $200 this is an urgent care not emergency room. I asked cant you just call, she tired but why not ask for rep from the beginning. I don’t feel good off to another urgent care. Waste of time.

Everyone who comes into the room should wear their badge and introduce themselves as well as perform prior hand hygiene prior hand hygiene prior to donning gloves to protect the patient.
